JT started playing Country Music locally around the western PA area with the “Hickory Ridge” band back in 1989.  The band was together for many years as Country Music boomed in popularity throughout the 90’s into the next decade.  When “Hickory Ridge” quit playing music, JT took a little time off and then joined the “Zero to 60” band which consisted of a couple ex-members of the once popular local “Boothill Gang” band from the 80’s.  ”Zero to 60” was together for a couple of years but then the band renamed itself the “Boothill Gang” when a few more of the original “Boothill Gang” members joined. The “Boothill Gang” now mainly re-united with most of it’s original members continued playing locally for some years with success. When the “Boothill Gang” quit playing music, JT once again took some time off until the opportunity to join the “Backroads” band came along who he currently plays with today.

JT’s musical influences include Don Williams, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Elvis, and Alan Jackson.  He mostly favors the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s era of Country Music. JT’s hobbies outside of music include fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
